Elmar inaugurates its new “home” designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba. A charming and multifunctional space that tells the creativity and innovation of the contemporary kitchen and that is also composed of the AEG Experience Area, a sophisticated showcase of design and technology. The new showroom is spread over an area of about 300 square meters in a strategic position between the historic district of Brera and the newly requalified Porta Nuova area.

The new showroom, which was inaugurated during the June edition of Fuorisalone 2022, is spread over an area of ​​about 300 square meters in a strategic position between the historic Brera district and the redeveloped Porta Nuova: bright and wide-ranging thanks to the large showcases that create a continuous dialogue between inside and outside, enhances the effects of natural light on the materials of the kitchens on display, also enhancing the unique finishes of the appliances.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024, Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba presented exciting new developments for Elmar, the renowned Italian kitchen brand, by curating the setup of Casa Elmar, the brand's multifunctional space.

For this special collaboration, the architects began by studying new housing trends, which highlight how the kitchen is increasingly taking on a central role within the home, often integrated with the living area.

For the Casa Elmar setup, the inspiration was to create a space that was more than just a place, but a manifesto of intentions, an expression of the will to explore. The architects transformed the over 300 square meters of the environment into a multifunctional space, characterized by large windows and natural light, in a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior.

The intent was to bring to life a versatile environment, a creative laboratory where new ways of living can be experimented with and discovered: through a carefully delineated path, visitors can explore the six main compositions of Elmar kitchens.
